The Seven Critical Needs

Hello,

This is a very simple page because the The Seven Critical Needs are simple, core, common sense, nothing new, timeless…

They are anchored in our human tribal DNA.

1. Everyone wants to know they Belong in the tribe.

2. Everyone wants to Believe in the tribe.

3. Everyone wants to understand and embrace what they are Accountable for as it relates to what they are believing in and being asked to believe in.

4. Everyone really wants to know, understand and embrace how they are Measured. What constitutes doing a good job, doing my part, how does this support the thing I am believing in?

5. Everyone wants to have a voice in the thing they are being asked to believe in and in the things they are accountable for. They want to be Heard.

6. Everyone wants an opportunity to be in control of thier own development. Some more than others, but, we all want the opportunity to Develop.

7. Everyone wants to be Balanced in their worklife, we want little to no drama at work, we don’t want to be constantly strung out, we want to live within our ways and means, and we want to be healthy.

Take a moment to think about your own situation at work. How aligned are you with these needs?  The more aligned the more safety, trust, confindence, comfort you will feel. If you are not positively aligned to any of these seven needs you may find yourself not feeling bought in or included, your levels of trust might be slipping and you might be feeling disengaged.

It is that simple.
